Bicycle lightning campaign 2024
During the fall and winter times it will get dark earlier in the day. It is important to have good lightning on your bicycle to make sure you are visible for other road users. As part of the bicycle lightning campaign 'On in the dark (Aan in het Donker)' the municipality will be handing out (free) bicycle lights on the 28th of October. This campaign is focused on preparing cyclists for cycling safely in the dark. It is important to have a good set of lights on your bicycle when it gets dark outside. Cycling without proper lightning can make a traffic accident more likely. On the 28th of October we will be at the following locations to promote te message and hand out free lights between 15:30 - 20:30 pm:
- Campus Plaza
- On the cyclingpath in Junushoff
- Churchillweg/Stadsbrink
- Marijkeweg (near the sportshal).
