Accommodating safe cycling towards campus
The University of Wageningen is eager to facilitate cycling from Wageningen city center towards the campus. Therefore, on the initiative of the University and in close collaboration with the municipality the bicycle crossing from the Hoevestein to the side entrance of the sports park De Bongerd is redesigned. The crossing is redesigned in such a way that there is more visibility for route users and this increased visibility accommodates safe crossings for cyclist. Hopefully, more and more students will enjoyable make use of this cycling route towards the campus.
