Making cycling more attractive (and safe).
There have been several complaints about the safety of the bicycle route on the Nijenoord Allee. Therefore, the route has been redesigned to a bi-directional bicycle route. In this way the cycling route between the Hoevestein and Bornsesteeg crossing becomes safer and more attractive. As a side note, speed pedelecs will only be allowed one way, this in accordance with the traffic regulations on speed pedelecs.
